Beginning May 25, Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie will lead a university delegation to Italy and Poland and several of those countries’ oldest and most dynamic cities. During the week-long trip, McRobbie and his fellow delegation members will help celebrate several special events, including the 50th anniversary of the IU’s study abroad program in Bologna, Italy, and the 40th anniversary of IU’s partnership with the University of Warsaw. They will also meet with top leaders in government, education, arts and culture, and business, as well as prominent IU alumni in both countries in an effort to strengthen the university’s longstanding connections to Europe and expand overseas opportunities for IU faculty and students.
