IU Goes to Saudi Arabia and India - Presidential Trip 2014

In late October 2014, Indiana University achieved several new international engagement milestones in India and Saudi Arabia, two nations where the university’s ties are among its deepest. The IU Goes to Saudi Arabia and India blog includes a collection of materials pertaining to IU’s historic activities in each country, as well additional information about IU’s international resources and the university’s numerous connections to South Asia and the Middle East.

Ryan Piurek

A member of IU's communications team for more than a decade, Piurek currently serves as director of strategic communications at IU Bloomington. As a graduate of the IU School of Journalism, Piurek helps coordinate media coverage for the university and keeps Hoosiers informed about the teaching, research, and creative activities of IU faculty, students, and staff. Piurek is a Connecticut native who has been living in Bloomington for 15 years, with past experience in newspaper reporting, public relations, marketing, advertising, and copywriting.
